d a n c e the night away [Adam]

Adam had needed to just get out to the bar with some buddies and have enough drinks to kill an elephant. Working in the asylum was never easy, especially with screaming and suicidal kids running in circles around everyone. Not all of them were that way, only most in Adam's opinion. If they weren't suicidal they had killed someone or thought they were a fairy angel vampire thing. It was an interesting job in seeing all of the things wrong with these kids, but there was only so long Adam could go without human contact. Well, normal human contact. So the second a friend had called about going to the bar he was in the shower to get ready. Out the door within half an hour was a record but hell, he needed some alcohol. Buckets of it even.

When he made his way into the bar it was loud, as usual, but it was extra loud with someone singing something god awful from the stage. It was karaoke night, just peachy. Karaoke wasn't exactly Adam's favorite but he'd put up with it since this was their normal haunt on their down time. Hopefully nails-on-blackboard-voice person would be off the stage in about five seconds either by the song ending or by force. At least if the 'singer' was awful at life they would be asked off the stage. Sometimes the drunks had it stuck in their head that they were amazing singers who were going to strike it rich at karaoke night because the record man would be hiding in a corner waiting for the one-hit wonder to pop out of the shadows. Oh, people were so awfully amusing sometimes.

Sighing, Adam ordered himself a Smitchwhick Red Draft and settled in beside some buddies. They were all laughing and carrying on about God knows what when he heard his name called. Adam looked up and around, finally spotting a somewhat, ok very drunk Alexis walking towards him. "Well hi there, missy. Had about eight too many drinks?" he asked with a lopsided smirk, catching the look from the bartender. A party girl, he liked this. Hopefully she would be able to keep up with Adam even though she was quite a few steps ahead of him in the drunk department. Sadly he couldn't really get drunk because of how badly the alcohol mixed with his medication but hell, he could have a few drinks and get tipsy at least. "So how come I never see you dressed this hot at work?"

Adam could merely chuckle at her saying she hadn't had too much to drink. She was already stumbling a bit, his hand catching her waist gently when she did just out of reaction. Adam was always very steady on his feet even as a drunk, well only when he wasn't absolutely plastered. Miss Alexis here, on the other hand, was not only unsteady at the moment she was also wearing heels that could break an ankle if she stepped just the wrong way. The whole taking the mic off the person who was singing made quite a few people laugh including Adam, his laughing pretty loud since he did find it funny. This girl just didn't care, she really didn't, and she would make sure if anyone was annoying her they knew it.

"Oh no, I drink at a surprising rate. Plus, I don't like extremely cold beer," he shook his head slowly, taking a long gulp of his beer. Oh he could go for some rum at the moment but he would stick to just beer for now. Adam would never have imagined that his uniform was sexy, to him it was just a uniform after all. "If you think those are sexy, you should have seen my old uniform. I had a vest and everything." He missed his spec ops stuff, he hadn't been really in the program long enough to do much more than a few sniper shots and a lot of training. Adam had decided he wanted to do something else instead of riding in a car or dealing with bombs all day so he had found this stupid garage.

"And hey, I still think you look sexy in those scrubs," the smirk he had on his face as he spoke was only described as huge. He finished off the draft and ordered another one, taking a light sip of it. Just as he had said, he hated really cold beer and he made a little face at it. Setting the cup down he leaned against the bar a bit, hand reaching to softly move some of her hair out of her face. Damn this girl was so good looking, and she had just said that her outfit was made for sex. Adam wouldn't mind taking Alexis home for the night, or at least for a few hours to have a good time. "I hear you're pestering Eliot more and more everyday, sad to say he won't take his zipper down anytime soon. He's not a guy who likes anything other than work," he rolled his eyes at that thought. Eliot may be one of his good friends but the guy never went out for drinks and spent most of his time at work. Hell, that was fine, because if he did in fact get laid that meant more time for him from Alexis.

Adam could only laugh as he watched tipsy Alexis try to really think about him in his other uniform. The process was cute to watch and when she said she was sorry she missed it he shook his head. "That was awhile ago, almost a year. I have pictures of it though," he nodded, listening to her talk about an ego. She wasn't exactly someone who seemed like she would have a huge ego that would overtake his. Of course, being confident was sexy but not egotistical.

"Eliot's too easy to pick at. I get him going everyday, not mad but I pick on him for something or other." Adam had never seen Eliot mad, like actually mad. Frustrated, yes, annoyed, yes, but never mad. Even Alexis' endless picking on him and annoying him hadn't made Eliot blow up. And now he was teaching Alexis how to fight? Probably that karate shit, nothing that would help her if she knew hand to hand combat like Adam did. Oh well, let Eliot teach her these things since he really didn't want to hurt Alexis. At least with Karate it was more kicking and pushing unlike the combat techniques he knew where you had to really someone.

"I'm bigger, that's for sure," he laughed, knowing Eliot would have killed him had he heard Adam say that. Adam got cocky, it was a fault of his but it only came out briefly because then he would relax and settle back into himself. Reaching out he pulled her closer by gently holding onto her hip, looking up at her since she was now taller than he was as he was sitting on a stool. "So, Alexis, if you've moved onto bigger and better things, whose house are you going to tonight?"

Taking in a deep breath as her breath brushed his skin, he smirked and simply slid his arms all the way around her waist for a moment. "I was hoping you would say that," he smirked, watching her order up two shots. Oh god, Four Horseman shots were the worst since they contained all of the hard liquors. He watched the bar tender and could only laugh as he gave Alex a look that would kill if it were possible. Alex could be a little overbearing if she wanted to but the girl wanted some drinks, the bar tender was getting paid for it so he had better do it. Thankfully he did and there were two shots set down in front of them within seconds.

"Oh I'm doing them," he smirked, grabbing the shot and downed in time with her. A lot of people would tap the table with the shot glass and then the others before downing them but screw that. He wanted to down it as fast as possible in case he decided not to do it and then look like a pussy. As soon as the sharp taste hit him he closed his eyes and shook his head, letting out a light cough. "I forgot how strong those were." A slight cough escaped him and he set the shot glass down, looking at Alex. She was probably going to be trashed in about five minutes and taking her home was going to be interesting.

Thinking about home made him smirk, he was taking her home to his bed and she was gonna be all naked. "Now that we've done that, how about he continue our little party at my house," he smirked, leaning close enough to just trace his lips across her neck. He wanted to be home right now, in his bed having the best time of his life since he moved to this place. Standing up all the way he stretched for a second, pulling his car keys out of his pocket as he gently rest his hand on her waist.

This wouldn't be the first time Adam took a girl home, oh hell no it wouldn't. The boy had the face of an angel, at least that's what some girls had said, and his blue eyes always won people over. Although, he had been eying Alexis for awhile now, ever since he started working actually. All Adam had been thinking about since he started working was taking those pants of hers off and going to town. Maybe that was the alcohol talking but he wasn't going to deny that fact since he was now taking her home to his bed. Maybe he'd give her the time of her life, maybe he'd fail at it, he didn't know. His little buddy had never failed him before so why should it now? It wasn't like in that Zohan movie where the little man suddenly stops working because of him falling in love, Adam was no where near in love.

He waited patiently for her to take her shoes off, noticing how much shorter she was than him now that she was flat footed. Damn, he hadn't realized he was that much taller than her before but it didn't bother him. Adam liked his girls to be smaller than him since it made him feel a little more like a man...cheesy retard. Shaking his head when she barely made it back over to him, he crouched down and picked her up. Getting through this bar wasn't going to be easy for her not to mention she was barefoot...on a bar floor...where everyone spilled their drinks. That was just disgusting so he was going to carry her. "Sorry, you'll thank me in the morning when you don't wake up with liquor covered feet," he smirked, walking right through the crowd and out the door with her in his arms. Not only was she short she was light as hell, that could just be his over-obsession with working out talking too.

Setting her in the car he made sure she was buckled in before climbing into the drivers seat of his Dodge Charger, glad he had a well-paying job to have this shiny new car. "If you have to get sick, I advise to just stick your head out of the window." It wasn't to protect his car, actually, it was more for her so she didn't have it all over her and cause herself to get even more sick. Luckily Adam didn't drive like a crazy person so she probably wouldn't feel too sick, plus he only lived a few short blocks away. He pulled into his parking spot once they made it through all of the green lights, getting out to help her right away. His apartment was pretty nice, at least it was on the nicer part of town and it was decently sized. It had been his second apartment after moving here and Adam was not going to spare any luxury. "You gonna be able to walk the stairs?" he chuckled, not wanting to take the elevator since it made him sick when he was drunk, he didn't want to find out if it made her sick.

Adam watched her attempt the steps and was honestly surprised at how well she managed to navigate them. There was no falling flat on her face, not clinging to the railing for dear life and she even came down a few steps to meet him, A soft smirk lifted his lips when she said his name, knowing she wanted him more than anything else at that very moment kind of making him proud. Her kiss was a lot softer than he had expected and he picked her up mid-kiss, wanting that bed right about now. Sadly he had to stop kissing her so he could unlock his apartment door, using only one arm to hold onto her while he fumbled with his keys. Damnit why did he have so many keys?! Shaking his head, he made sure the door was locked before carrying her into his room. There was no time to waste, he was stripping both of them down asap.

Thankfully they didn't have to be at work the next morning, at least Adam didn't so he didn't set an alarm. Judging by how drunk Alex had gotten he assumed she didn't either, so there was nothing to wake them up other than natural body alarms. When he finally did wake up, his arm was around Alex's waist and his head tucked into her neck as if she were his girlfriend or lover. Opening his eyes he was glad he at least remembered to pull the curtains shut at some point so the room was dark. Already his head was pounding obnoxiously loud and he hadn't even had that much to drink. As soon as the thought of alcohol hit him he knew it wasn't the fact that he had gotten a little buzzed, it was the headache from the alcohol mixing with his medication. Oh great, he had to take that yet and one look at the clock gave it away that it was closer to noon than he though. Eleven-thirteen am and his stomach was a-growling.

He gave a long yawn and a little bit of a stretch, pulling Alex to him. Soft kisses were placed along her neck in hopes it would wake her up, finally he bit her carefully. "Alex, cutie," he said gently, still trying to wake her up. Once they were both awake he'd make them breakfast and then shower as long as she didn't want to shower. Of course, Alex would probably leave if she didn't want to shower which gave him the rest of the day to wash his sheets and to get rid of the god awful migraine that was slowly working its way to his brain.

Her surprise was quite amusing as she stared at him for a moment and then got out of bed. Oh yes she had gotten quite smashed the night before just to come back to his apartment to have some wild sex. That had been the best he had had in awhile so there was no regret anywhere in Adam's mind. "You got more hammered than you think," he chuckled, not being able to not stare at her gorgeous body. He was going to offer her some clothes so she didn't have to do the walk of shame in her clothes from the night before but she was already dressed. Oh well, might as well try to offer them so he didn't seem like a giant douche.

"Ya know, you can get a shower and I can give you some clothes to wear," he shrugged, climbing out of his bed. For now he'd just wear shorts so he could cook and get a shower later. "I'll cook breakfast." Adam dug the pair of shorts out of his drawer and slid them on, stopping beside her to give her a gentle look down the shirt. He was a guy, couldn't resist and he wanted to see her reaction. With a laugh he headed for the hallway, stopping to turn back around to look for his phone. He knew there had to be a multitude of texts and missed calls on it so he had to at least check it. Then she mentioned her shoes, oh shit where were her shoes. "Uhhhmm..." Adam rubbed his head lightly as he thought about it, only mussing up is hair some more. It actually helped his massive headache to relax a little but then he stopped when he remembered just where her shoes were.

"They're in my car because you decided to take them off in the middle of the bar last night. When we go to get your car you'll have them," Adam couldn't resist laughing at that memory. Alex had nearly careened off of a few people as she ran from the bartender to him and then he had to carry her out of the bar. Well, he didn't have to but he felt like it so he had. "Also, I think we dropped your phone and for some reason I remember your bra coming off out there but I guess you found it." Shrugging as he walked out of his room he glanced around as he walked towards the kitchen, picking her phone up off the floor and set it next to his on the counter. Oh that had been a hell of a night and little did he know he had a few scratches on his back, but he wouldn't know. Adam figured he was just stiff from body dropping one of the kids at the asylum for trying to get the guards, not some crazy crap from the night before. Stretching to try and rid himself of the stiffness, he managed to scrounge up stuff to make waffles and pancakes, setting to doing so.
