WE'VE NEVER BEEN INTO HONESTY
but promise me you'll let me know ,
WHEN YOU'RE LYING. SHE WANTS TO BE AN EAGLE AND WHENS SHE'S
HIGH SHE CAN FLY NO MATTER WHAT SHE WAS TRYING.
but promise me you'll let me know ,
WHEN YOU'RE LYING. SHE WANTS TO BE AN EAGLE AND WHENS SHE'S
HIGH SHE CAN FLY NO MATTER WHAT SHE WAS TRYING.
It had been a long day. And when Rachelle described her day as long, then it was usually long; and probably tiring. But that didn't stop the young twenty-one year old from loving every moment of her job, even if that meant sleeping and eating a healthy diet went flying straight out the window. Lately, Rachelle had been working eighteen hour days, sometimes twenty, but that never stopped Rachelle from having a bright and cheery smile on her face when everyone else in the hospital was frowning. She now practically lived at the hospital and found herself on call twenty-four seven. She never thought being a nurse would be so tiring, and yet rewording at the same time, even if that meant all of her patients hated her and her fellow staff members who were trying to get them better. Surprisingly, she found it inspiring; the more the patients resisted her and the doctors, the more she felt she needed to help the them.
Today, had been no different from any other day at Lucid Manor, expect last night she had slept in her own bed, and actually looked like a decent human being, verses sleeping in the library for a few hours and getting back to work. But somehow Rachelle had found herself wondering back inside the library around three in the afternoon with a cup of black coffee in a styrofoam cup. The patient that was in charge of the library's up keeping made a rude comment when Rachelle walked by, something by the lines of: "oh shes back again. doesn't that blonde bimbo have something else to do other than spy on us?" Rachelle did nothing, but smile at him as she walked by, ignoring his faulty assessment of her. She wanted nothing more but to sit down and relax during her thirty minute break which usually ended short by twenty minutes.
So, she made her way to the back left corner of the library where five blue armchairs were, and Rachelle picked one that she was most familiar with. It was the one she often found herself snoozing on when she didn't have time to go home and sleep between her shifts. She didn't mind though, the chairs were surprisingly comfy, and Rachelle didn't need much to please her. She set her full cup of coffee on a small table that sat next to her chair so she wouldn't spill it, and for the first time she looked around the library. It wasn't as busy as it usually was, which surprised her. The library was almost always busy. It was a large place where patients could hide away until they had to be hunted down for doctor meetings or medication rounds. To Rachelle it was a quiet oasis where she could just sit back and relax and not think about how utterly exhausted she was. She shut her eyes gently, and before she knew it, she fell asleep.___________________________________________
