"It's okay, but I mean if you ever want to let something out just tell me." Abigail smiled and shook her head lightly, before tucking a lock of hair behind her ear. "You'll regret saying that if I do end up wanting to talk." she laughed lightly, for now she refused to say out loud what had happened. After all, with what happened with Trey, the rape, well it was all her fault wasn't it, she'd let him in, not fought hard enough. It was now, again, she decided she'd keep it to herself, she wasn't ready for people to judge her.
"The cafeteria food is disgusting...I honestly don't know how they get away with calling it food..." she said, shaking her head, wrinkling her nose up at the thought she'd have to eat from there later on. "Maybe I can sneak you something better than that stuff." she looked at Collin as he winked and smiled at her and her own smile spread across her face, brightly, wrapping her arm around his as they walked, "Collin I would love you forever if you did that...chocolate cakes my favourite if you fancy bringing me in something." she smiled brightly.

"You'll regret saying that if I do end up wanting to talk." He shook his head and smiled. She was like him and he doubted he'd say anything about his sister just yet. That was still a touchy subject for him. His sister was his favorite family member and he still took it onto his shoulders as his fault. He shrugged it away as meaningless and argued with his mind some more on how it was only maybe partially his fault. He shrugged and looked at Abigail. As she discussed the gross cafeteria food. The smile that came across her face made him blush slightly and he felt a tingle deep inside. The arm around his, and he just kind of melted down more. And smiled at her brightly, and patted her arm with his other hand. He liked the feeling of her on his arm. In fact he liked it a lot, now only if they weren't actually in an insane asylum.
He laughed. "Collin I would love you forever if you did that...chocolate cakes my favourite if you fancy bringing me in something." The word love hit him and he blushed more. Jeeze he felt like a teenager again and chuckled at himself. "Well I think I could do that, I'll have to go home tonight and put on my cooking apron." He laughed and it brought back memories of baking with his little sister. She loved baking and would always start stealing cookie dough from the bowl. Although he liked enjoying some cookie dough or cake batter himself. He smiled wide seeing Abigail's sweet smile.

Abigail laughed lightly, still keeping her arm around Collin's as they walked. It was comfortable, she'd surprised herself by linking his arm, but when he didn't push her away, she took it as a sign he didn't mind, especially when he patted her arm. For the first time since she'd gotten here, she could truly say she didn't mind it, although she was sure that would all change when she was alone tonight. Well I think I could do that, I'll have to go home tonight and put on my cooking apron." at this she laughed again, her cheeks colouring slightly.
"You wear an apron to? Damn...where were you when I wasn't crazy..." she joked, laughing lightly. "I used to love to bake...cakes mainly as I have a severe weakness for sugary goodness...I will admit that I make the best cupcakes around." she said proudly as she trailed off, it felt strange to be smiling so much as well as talking, she could truly say she was glad to have met Collin.

Her laugh made him smile even more and squeezed her arm lightly. He was really hoping this wouldn't get taken into account by the other guards. Well he said to himself if he got fired he could always get admitted he laughed at himself. "You wear an apron to? Damn...where were you when I wasn't crazy..." This made him laugh softly and smile at her. "Well it's quite possible I was baking with my sister." He chuckled. In a way his sister could of been considered his kid on how much he cared for her. And never did mourn her properly. He smiled, "Sugary goodies, sure are yummy. Maybe you will get to make me a cupcake sometime." He looked at her and knew he was falling head over heels for this girl hard and fast.
He suddenly wished she wasn't in this place, and wished he could bring her back to his apartment. Thinking she might like it there than here. But unfortunately it was the doctors that had to sign the release papers. And he doubted he could pull any strings, just urging he couldn't help it but reached over and rubbed his hand on hers softly for a second. At this point he didn't really care if another guard got into his matters. He would protect her from the others and keep them from being separated at all costs. "Now I am not going to be ready to leave when my shift is over." He chuckled amused at how his first day on the job has turned into a great time, with a great girl.

"Well it's quite possible I was baking with my sister." Abigail inclined her head to the side and looked at Collin, "You loved her very much didn't you?" she asked gently, already knowing without him actually saying, that his sister was no longer around. Collin spoke of her in the past tense, so she'd caught on quickly. "Maybe you will get to make me a cupcake sometime." he said, and she blushed and nodded her head, "I could definatley do that...if I ever get out of here. My parents are adament I'm kept here till I am no longer a danger to myself or anyone else she made quote gestures with her fingers and sighed.
When she felt Collin's hand smooth over her own, she found herself relaxing somewhat, and she smiled softly, but also felt like crying at the same time. Here she was talking to a really great guy, one she could see herself falling hard for, and there was nothing she could do about it. It's not like he'd want to know her anyway when/if he found out what Trey did...why she was here. He'd leave."Now I am not going to be ready to leave when my shift is over." as he spoke she looked up at him, a small pout on her lips, "Don't think i want you to leave either...you'll be back tomorrow right?" she asked.

"You loved her very much didn't you?" He nodded slowly, "I sure did love her. She was a great sister and she would have went places." He struggled inside himself that she would have, that she was smart and very fun to be around. He struggled with her comment that if she ever gets out and it made him uneasy. How many people did get out of Lucid Manor he thought to himself. Even though it was his first day he was bound to find out how this place works. He didn't want to leave now and although his shift was going to end soon so the evening shift could come in. He saw the pout and chuckled a bit it was cute. "Yes I sure will be back, tomorrow is my second day. And some chocolate cake." He winked and smiled brightly, and he sure wouldn't forget that. "So how do you propose that I get that little present to you? And where shall I find you?" He looked at with a dreamy smile and his cheeks had a hint of pink in them.
With his linked arm he gently pulled her in closer and smiling. "I wonder what the guards are thinking now." He spoke softly and chuckling. He could only imagine and how this ended up this way well the only thing he could think of was fate. And maybe, just maybe he might get to see her outside this crazy house. He continued walking and says, "But at the moment I really do not care." He laughed and indeed did feel young again. He also felt happy, very happy. It was odd but he enjoyed the feeling. He also liked Abigail on his arm. "Heck if I could bust ya out, I sure would do that." He smiled he liked the idea but it may not be the best idea to go along with he told himself.

"Yes I sure will be back, tomorrow is my second day. And some chocolate cake." Abigail relaxed and smiled when he said he'd be back, the smile widened when he said he'd bring cake as well. When he asked how she though he should bring it in, she shrugged and looked at him, "Your the security guard, I'll leave that little problem up to you but tomorow I have my appointment with the Doc, then I think if I'm not out here, I'll just be hanging out in my room..." she said, she was lucky enough to have her own room.
As he pulled her just that little bit closer she blushed, her eyes flickering towards the other guards hoping they wouldn't intervene. "I honestly think they're worried for you..." she said, as he laughed, she hadn't missed the way one of the guards had frowned at her. Honestly did all bi-polars get treated with such distrust or was it just her. She did have to admit she enjoyed hearing him laugh, it made her smile. "If there was a chance you could bust me out I'd be forever grateful but I think it's time I faced facts...I'm stuck here for a good while." she sighed, "Plus we couldn't have you losing your job now could we..." she smiled, reluctant to let the walk end. One thing she despised, and one thing she feared was being alone, she knew as soon as Collin left and she was sent back inside, that's what she'd be.

"Well then your room it is. Oh I will find a way." He chuckled as they walked now once restless and scuffling. He was at ease and now wished his shift wouldn't end so quickly. Although he was kind of excited, that well he got to baked a cake. He chuckled and looked at Abigail not worried about what was around them. "Why would you say they are worried for me?" He chuckled and really was going to be expecting for tomorrow. Although after her doctor appointment was up he would be definitely looking for her and that sweet smile again. "If there was a chance you could bust me out I'd be forever grateful but I think it's time I faced facts...I'm stuck here for a good while." He nodded in agreement and chuckled at the next statement. "Plus we couldn't have you losing your job now could we..."
"Well no, I kinda like my uniform." He laughed softly, and he wasn't so sure how to say goodbye for now. She was hooked onto his arm which made him smile as she looked into her hazel eyes. And he started walking slower knowing this was coming to an end. He looked around ignoring the other guards with a bright smile on his face. He slowly looked down at her and not wanting to say it but he had to get going back to clock out and leave. He came to a stop facing he and smiled. "Well I do hope you have a lovely evening." He smiled at her dropping his arm from her and giving her a small embracing hug. He want to add a kiss, but he didn't want to scare her and decided the hug should be good enough for now. "I am sorry to say I will see you tomorrow. Just think of me and everything will be alright." He waited a moment to make sure she didn't have anything to say before he walked away.

"Why would you say they are worried for me?" Abigail shrugged as they came to a stop, "Because I'm a medium profile patient...we're not exactly the sanest of the group." she replied. When he made his comment about his uniform she laughed, "Yes I happen to quite like your uniform to." she teased.
The hug surprised her slightly, but she did return it. If she was honest with herself she didn't really want it to end, but it did, and Collin soon pulled away, wishing her a lovely evening. "I'll be thinking of that chocolate cake tonight before I go to sleep..." she joked, smiling as she did. "You have a great night to Collin...and thanks...you know, for talking to me." she said softly, tucking her hands into her back pockets. "I'll see you tomorow."

"Because I'm a medium profile patient...we're not exactly the sanest of the group." He nodded earnestly then smiled, "Well I must say you sure are sane to me." He added and was surprised that she hugged back but grateful. And looked down at her solemnly with a bittersweet goodbye crossing his mind and smiled at her liking his uniform. He nodded and chuckled. The only thing he hoped he wouldn't have to use would be his gun. But it was mostly for safety he was sure. Yet it still felt a bit weird what if a patient grabbed it from the holster? He shuddered at the thought. "You better cause I'll be busy making one just for you." And heard the thank you and said, "Well Abigail, you are mighty welcome. You and me both I think needed it."
He looked at her not wanting to leave as she stuck her hands in her back pocket. "I'll see you tomorrow." He turned around slightly, and his heart dropped a little. He didn't want to go but someone had to make the cake. As he got half way across the yard he turned, smiled and waved goodbye. While other patients may have looked at him funny he did not care. The only person important to him right now was Abigail. He trudged through the halls to clock out and go home for the night and get his apron on. He chuckled at the thought.
