The day had been a dull one for the wannabe vampire, a day he would have happily spend buried under his blankets until the sun disappeared from the horizon. However, the decision was made for him to rise and enjoy the day, though Dominic hated the daytime. They tried to force him to eat his lunch which he ate, but his hunger for blood was always present. Eating the food was only a show for those overseeing his care, he only did it to pleased them so he wouldn't be placed into medical or punished in some other matter. He might have very few privileges, but he enjoyed the few he had.
Behaving, the large man was guided from the cafeteria to the rec room where he was left to his own devices. He frowned as his blue-green eyes moved about the room, taking it all in before he went in search of something to do to pass the time. His searched turned up a puzzle with a landscape scene which looked interesting to him. Carefully he set the box on a table, opening it to reveal the pieces inside. With care, he started to sort the pieces out, putting the edge pieces to the side. Once he had everything organized, he began to match the pieces together. Soon he had the edges put together to form the outside of the puzzle which pleased him. He started to hum softly to himself as his gaze stared down at the pieces before him.

Bored. Life at the Mental Asylum of Lucid Manor was boring. and quite frankly, there was nothing to keep Cobra Jackson from being bored. He grumbled when he couldn’t exactly stay outside in the sun all day, laying out in piles of leaves as he watched the clouds float by aimlessly, and eventually he was told he spent enough time there and had to go inside. He sighed heavily; being outside right now was so much better than being inside, walking through the halls, his feet slumping down in front of hi, foot by foot, mindlessly muttering bored things under his breath. He had found his way to the cafeteria and taken to eating a bowl of ice cream – stretched it long enough to get through the hour and a half of being boredness – and then finally found his way out towards the rec room. Usually there was interesting people there, or even interesting things to do – like mindlessly watch hours of television. He wondered if there was anything good on today – they blocked certain channels so sometimes it was hard to find something good but… he gave a heavy sigh as he slipped into the doors of the Recreation room, his eyes found a few people.
Of course, the most interesting one that seemed to have caught his attention was an older high profile male. He was sitting on a couch, doing a jigsaw puzzle. Without thinking, CJ walked up to the older man and crouched down at the opposite end of the table, picking up one of the jigsaw puzzle pieces, “Can CJ play, too? CJ’s bored. This plays makes CJ bored, and CJ gets his cravings to be hurt if he gets too bored. I’m CJ,” he gave the older man an innocent grin; he didn’t know him but hey – a new friend was always a good thing, right?

Dominic cocked his head to the side as he regarded the younger patient who was crouched on the other side of the table. He had never seen him before, but he liked the way he looked. He seemed to him have the perfect appearance of a vampire with his pale flesh and dark locks, he liked so he didn't scary him away or insult him. Actually he considered what Cobra had said to him, asking if he could play with him. Honestly, he wasn't against the younger man joining him, it wasn't exactly the most exciting thing to be doing. Gently he shrugged his shoulders “You may,” he replied as his blue-green depths fixed themselves on CJ's soft-looking face which was grinning at him.
“Cj... I am Dominic Graves,” Dominic said introducing himself to CJ since he had told him his name, but that wasn't all he told him. He liked pain. Dominic couldn't help but smirk a little at that revelation, after all he had a sadistic edge to him, though his were connected with his vampirism. “You like pain?” he inquired curiously “I am not against pain but I am not a masochist, I must prefer giving a little pain but it is not my reason for being locked up. I am a vampire, but they are convinced that I am not.” he confessed to CJ as he placed more pieces down in the puzzle before lifting his gaze once more with an impish sort of smirk.

CJ was waiting for the man’s agreement to let him play the puzzle, too, almost like a little puppy who waited that little treat from its master after it did a trick correctly. He studied the older man, who sported dark hair and bright eyes – it made CJ curious, that was for sure. He tilted his head a bit as the man fell silent, staring at him before finally moving, shrugging his shoulders and telling CJ that he may play with him. He literally almost squealed in happiness and settled himself on the ground, legs tucked up underneath him as he shifted through a smaller pile of puzzle pieces to see which ones fit together where. He wasn’t smart enough to do puzzles usually, but if he had company usually he’d be able to do them. He got himself comfortable as he mindlessly dug through the pieces, listening to the silence that had filled the air.
Until the man said his name, and he looked up as the man introduced himself – Dominic Graves. CJ couldn’t help but giggle a little, grinning wider than before, “Do people call you Dom? My name’s Cobra Jackson Putnum, but I like CJ better. It’s easier to say, you know?” he grinned, studying the man as he went back to looking at the puzzle pieces. He quirked an eyebrow as the man started talking, his head tilting a tiny bit to the side as he talked about being a vampire, “Well… vampires are cool, aren’t they? I mean, they can never really die unless you have like… certain things. It’s almost like zombies – personally, I think zombies are stupid though,” he said, figuring out two pieces and grinning in triumph, “But yes, to answer your question, CJ likes pain. CJ craves pain like there’s no tomorrow… CJ was trying to avoid talking about it because CJ wants it now, and the doctor’s medicines don’t particularly work well with CJ…” his mind suddenly felt consumed by his cravings of wanting pain, but he knew he wasn’t allowed to ask – especially not with guards around watching their every move.

'I have been called Dom before, if you would like to call me that it is quite already,” he replied with a playfully smirk as CJ expressed his joy in a giggle and a wide grin. “CJ...if it is what you like I shall call you CJ.” Dominic had a slight smirk on his lips while he continued to fiddle with the puzzle, putting a few more pieces down before studied a couple others he had set aside. He suddenly chuckled at his statement that vampires were cool, but zombies were stupid. “Yes, I like to think we're pretty cool, but clearly the world thinks we're cool but dangerous. The reason I am here, I'm too dangerous to exist out there,” he gestured with his head towards the wall, referring to the world that laid beyond the institution, the world they had once lived in. “I don't particularly like zombies either,” Dominic offered him a faint smile which showed some of his white teeth to CJ.
He found he liked the young masochist, he seemed like someone he could talk to without being judged and he might accept him as a creature of the night without trying to fix him. “You want it now?” he asked, stopping his actions with the puzzle to turn his attention fully on CJ. Dominic was intrigued, CJ was the first willing victim to pain. He had never met anyone who received pleasure from their own pain, though he did receive pleasure from others' pain, but he enjoyed the blood too. “You know if I could do it right now, I would bite you... sink my teeth right in your neck... draw your sweet blood up so I could lap it up.” This was the wannabe vampire's twisted way of dirty talking to the masochist.

CJ was easily lured in, that was a fact. It was almost as if “SUCKER” was written on his forehead in neon colours, ready for anyone to come to him, to put it in his mind that they were the ones in control. He liked people like that – the ones who had seemingly made him mindless, and acted and treated him like a toy. It made him feel wanted, thrilling, it was. It made him feel this endless pit of being wanted – and considering his family life was hardly anything that people wanted him for, it was almost virtually perfect. It was easy to twist words into having a lie and making Cobra Jackson believe them – really, all one had to do was hit him or pinch him or promise his little pains for his pleasure and he was lured in. It was almost like a magnet to the pole… or another magnet. It was strange. Talking to Dom made CJ feel like he was wanted, and he mindlessly fiddled with the few puzzle pieces he had taken, thinking quietly. He listened as Dom explained something that just went completely over his head and he nodded, putting the two pieces together and putting them in the big puzzle that Dominic had already started, grinning widely, feeling proud that he managed to do a little of the puzzle.
The thing that caught Cobra Putnum’s attention in a heartbeat, though, was the question – do you want it now? – the one thing that made his eyes widen with almost pure excitement, his eyes focusing almost instantly on the older man, “Yeah. CJ likes pain. CJ wants pain right now,” he admitted, blindly, stupidly, lost in the excitement that seemed to crawl underneath his skin. He shuddered – visibly – nodding mindlessly at Dominic Graves’ words – about wanting to sink his teeth into CJ’s flesh… the blood. The images that ran through the nineteen year old’s mind was almost breathtaking in its own way. Without thinking, CJ’s eyes were sharp on the older man, almost like he was the only person in the world that had mattered – and at the point in time, Dominic was the only one who mattered to CJ… even if it was for his own personal pain that he wanted.

Dominic smirked at CJ as he took note of the boy's joy at helping him with his puzzle. He had to admit he found him rather endearing which was not a common thing for the wannabe vampire. He didn't often feel emotions like deep fondness. It was true that he could like others, but none of it was as strong as love. Yes, he had loved his family, but he had not loved anyone outside of them. He felt an instant connection with CJ which he found he liked, though it was a new experience, but even monsters needed those they could connect with. Perhaps it was the reason he found himself talking dirty to him in a way that only a masochist would have found erotic.
Looking into the younger man's eyes, he could see that those words had affected him. CJ looked so intense staring at him, a clear sign of desire in those bright depths. It was quite an ego boost to know he had caused such want in the handsome youth's gaze. Quickly he looked around them, checking to see if anyone was observing them. Luckily it seemed his guard had become distracted by a issue developing with another patient. Slowly he moved his chair closer to CJ trying to make it look less obvious what he was going to do. Dominic pretended to be helping him with the puzzle pieces, leaning in to give his neck a teasing bite just to wet his appetite for more.

Cobra was easy to please. He really was. His head tilted just slightly to the side as his eyes were filled with excitement that matched how excited he was in general when Dominic asked about his pain needs. Suddenly, he was really in tune with what the older man was talking to him about, but it didn’t exactly click in his mind. Sometimes, he was strange like that – it’d sink into his mind, but it just wouldn’t click and stay in place. They had locked eyes for a long moment before Dominic finally broke the stare to glance around to see if anyone was looking. Instead of looking with the older man, CJ busied himself with trying to put two more pieces of the puzzle together, almost seemingly becoming lost in the habit, focusing, getting just a tiny bit frustrated at the fact that the two pieces didn’t fit together. Hey, he wasn’t the smartest person in the asylum.
And then suddenly, Dom was sitting next to him, wrapping one arm over his shoulder and taking a few puzzle pieces with his hand, leaning in and inconspicuously giving a gentle, teasing bite on CJ’s neck. The feel of enemal against his soft skin made CJ almost sit up straight, only tensing a bit and made him bite his lip, casting a look at Dominic for wanting more, always wanting more, for a harder bite, deeper bite – whatever the man wanted to do to him, he’d listen as long as he got his pain. He kept himself quiet though, knowing better than to make sounds and alert the guard who was now stepping away from the two of them to deal with the problem of another patient – a medium profile who was going through some sort of panic attack. Under his breath, CJ finally spoke, “Please sir…” he mumbled, shifting a little, eyes trying to focus completely on Dominic, “please hurt CJ. Cj will do anything for pain,” he whispered, biting his lip as his finished talking, shaking a little, his cravings starting to override what his mind wanted to do.

“Then you shall have it my pet,” he purred into his ear before he lowered his mouth to his milky white neck which was already showing the 'love bite' from moments ago. Gently he extended his tongue to lick the spot he had bitten earlier, tasting the youth's soft skin before he sink his teeth into the meaty part of his neck. It bit down hard enough to draw just the hint of blood which he sucked up greedily, enjoying the taste of blood that he missed so much. It send a shiver of pleasure through his commanding frame as his arms encircled CJ, putting the younger man's back into his front. There wasn't a clear view to what he was doing with him, considering his shoulder-length hair was blocking the neck.
So no one was trying to intervene to 'save' CJ from the dangerous high profile mental patient. His hands ran across the youth's chest, rubbing over the shirt that covered his front. His fingers wanting very much to rip the fabric away as they scratched themselves over the material. But he knew better then to damage the shirt, he didn't want to get caught doing something naughty. Of course he was only satisfying a new friend's appetite which only satisfied his own. Slowly he lifted his mouth from the bite after he had licked it clean, drawing his mouth back up to his ear “How was that?” he whispered sensually “Did it satisfy your hunger?” Dominic grinned darkly.

The term Dominic Graves used made CJ blink – pet. Was he going to be mindless to the older man, like a puppy was to its master? It did make him a little nervous; he didn’t exactly want to be someone’s pet… but maybe the man was just using it to screw with his mind. Yes, yes, CJ figured that was it and nothing else. He bit his lip as he thought about this for a moment, a mix of whether or not he should be excited or absolutely terrified at what Dominic Graves was thinking, but in all honesty, it didn’t stick with him for long. Dominic had agreed to giving CJ pain after that gentle little bite on his neck – the one that made CJ’s eyes glassy with want, need, and just the little hint of pure excitement that appeared when he was in that submissive mode, and shifted next to CJ just a bit. First, CJ felt the man’s tongue over his skin, which made him tense at first, and he went to look at the man when he felt it – the pain that shot down his spine, that made him completely mindless, susceptible to anything his ‘captor’ wanted. He could feel the teeth sink deeper and deeper into his skin, harder and harder. He became just a little squirmy, moaning quietly, so quietly that only Dominic would be able to hear.
He felt his body relax at the pain, not so much that he’d be a puddle on the floor, but enough to be swayed into movement without realizing. The broad, older man wrapped his arms around CJ and pulled him close, letting the nineteen year old rest his back against the broad chest, his arms around CJ, his hands and fingers rubbing over his shirt, scratching him through the fabric. He was slowly slipping even deeper into the hypnotic trance that happened when he was getting pain, and he shivered a moment at the feelings. To CJ, this man was controlling, willing to give him his pain if he was good – a good ‘pet’. It was almost like Dominic had known that CJ would react like he was, and that he was trying to solidify the ‘I control you’ thoughts in the younger man’s head. CJ shifted a little, finding himself really enjoying the physical contact with the older man – he did enjoy being cuddled and snuggled, it made him feel protected and wanted and everything – and so he had found that when he leaned against Dom, he didn’t exactly fight against it. Instead, he really just let himself get more comfortable, shifting a bit and resting his head on the man as he licked the wound on CJ’s neck.
The feelings left him in a haze, the feeling of the pain sinking slightly as Dominic finished his bite and slowly pulled away. CJ moaned, eyes glassed over, feelings all honed in on the older man who would easily take his mind and twist it to anything he wanted, especially now, in the almost hypnotic trance CJ resided in. It was the same trance that Raphael put CJ in to give him instructions – like not to lie, or to sit still and let him tie him up or something. Sometimes, it just came naturally to CJ, other times there was almost like people had to fight him into it – pain and gentle little suggestions usually put him into the right mindset in a heartbeat – he was easy to control mentally, which made most of the patients who liked having the feeling of controlling others in the insane asylum took quite a fond liking to CJ. CJ didn’t mind, as long as he got the pain. He couldn’t remember being controlled half the time, it was just so easy to make him that way.
The man moved a bit, whispering something in CJ’s ear, questioning about how CJ liked it, or at least, that’s how CJ thought about it. He shifted a little, resting more on Dom with his own upper body, giving a little sigh of happiness, “CJ liked it sir. A lot,” he admitted, shamelessly, barely getting the words out before Dom asked if it satisfied his hunger. CJ looked at him for a moment before shifting, nuzzling the older man and licking the man’s neck – he moved without thinking; he wasn’t going to bite the man, but licking was a habit when he was close enough and could do it, and so far, Dom didn’t say anything about not licking, “No sir… please sir, CJ likes the pain. CJ will do anything for you to get more…” he whispered, his eyes glazed over, lost in that almost hypnotic trance that could easily be seen on his face. He wanted pain, and he’d virtually do anything for Dom to get that pain.

Dominic felt pleased by what they had shared, taking a great amount of pleasure when CJ actually leaned into him like they were lovers enjoying a moment together after a pleasurable exchange. His large arms wrapped themselves around the much smaller man, holding his back into his powerful looking front. The would-be vampire never said it, but he did enjoy hugs and snuggles so he could hold his lovers close in a manner that was almost possessive. He had tasted CJ's blood, so in a way he felt the young man belonged to him. Dominic smirked when the boy wrapped in his arms told him that he had enjoyed himself a lot which pleased the vampire a great deal.
He hadn't had many people who liked being bitten by him or even liked to spend a lot of time with him, CJ liked both. He knew instantly he didn't want to lose this precious relationship and he would do anything to keep his little 'victim' by his side. The sudden affections from CJ surprised him, but it also sent a gratifying chill up his spine when his tongue licked across his pale warm flesh. Softly he rubbed CJ's stomach in reaction, giving him some subtle affection while he nuzzled his face against his soft hair. “I know you want more CJ, but we've to be careful. I don't want you to get into trouble my love, you deserve to be out here with me,” he said, grinning down at him with the blood still staining his teeth.

An almost happy sigh escaped from the nineteen year old's lips as the older man seemed to have shifted, wrapping his arms almost protectively around him. He shifted a little, finding himself enjoying the feeling of almost being wanted by this man - a man who he barely knew. It made him wonder for a long moment as he shifted, finding himself a comfy spot, his back against the man, virtually sitting on his lap, his head on the crook of his shoulder, happy. He was quiet, staring off into space, as he just let his body almost melt into the older man, almost like the cuddle they were in now was making them...one. It was a little strange, he had to admit that, but when the man seemed to tighten his grip a little around CJ, CJ couldn't help but smile widely, even if it was almost inwardly. He was quiet, and soon enough Dom had interrupted the silence, by telling him that even though he knew CJ wanted more pain, he couldn't have any because he didn't want him to be taken away and put somewhere. It made CJ furrow his eyebrows, lost in thought at what exactly Dom had said. The words "my love" had made him squirm a little, but he wasn't sure why. It was making him all confused in his already slow mind.
He giggled a little at the nuzzling that Dominic did to his head, and his fingers traced over the man’s large forearm, really enjoying the affection. He wasn’t a stickler when it came to the affection, but he was like a little puppy at times, loving the attention of those who decided to give it to him. It was one reason why he followed around a few people on an almost daily basis, because of that little affection, whether it was pleasure or pain. He shifted, eyes looking up at Dom, curiously, “Wouldn’t it be the other way around? You would be locked up because you’re a high profile… CJ doesn’t want you to leave. Everyone leaves CJ…” he said sadly, losing the smile on his face and unconsciously he turned his eyes down, miserable. Now that he thought about it, everyone left him at some point – all he was to anyone was an object and no one really ‘cared’ for him. He knew that; it was almost engraved in his mind from his father and from primary school and all that stuff. He slumped his shoulders and sighed, falling silent, staring almost at the floor, only looking up when Dominic’s guard started heading towards them with a scowl on his face.

Dominic smiled when his young companion giggled, clearly delighted by his affection which amused the would-be vampire. It was nice to have someone who didn't tell him to go away because he was creeping them out, but accepted him. He had never truly accepted before, so having it finally in his life was definitely a wonderful feeling and he didn't want to be parted from the one person who actually accepted and cared about him. He sighed softly as CJ caressed his arm with his fingers, a subtle sign of affection that seemed to comfort him as he held the younger man against him. “You're probably right,” he growled not liking the thought of being forced into solitary for give his new found friend pleasure. Why couldn't they understand that this was a good thing? It wasn't a thing to be punished over, at least in Dominic's mind.
“I don't want to leave either,” the wannabe vampire admitted to him, nuzzling his cheek against the top of CJ's head like an affectionate animal. He wasn't lying, he indeed wanted to stay right there with CJ with him wrapped in his arms. Gently he rested his head against the youth's own, moving his hair aside so he could press a kiss to his temple. They looked very much like a pair of lovers stealing some time for themselves before they forced back into their rooms where they were unable to see each other. The vampire lifted his gaze just as CJ did, spotting the guard as he made his way back to them. Dominic could tell right now this wasn't going to be good.

"So warm..."
He hadn't meant to admit his thoughts outloud to the larger man who held him, but it was the only thing that he could think of - how warm Dominic was. It wasn't because of anything strange, just being pushed against the man's body heat made him feel good, made him feel protected. It was almost like Dominic had hypnotized the boy with his body heat. As much as CJ loved to snuggle and cuddle with people, the one thing he never did was a man who knew how to keep him from feeling worthless - with his mother being dead since he was born, his father had never really cared, so he was never really that kid that was 'needed' just to feel wanted. But Dominic, no, Dominic made CJ feel like he was the wanna-be vampire's world. That had thrilled him - from the way the man's large arms were wrapped around him, protectively, holding the smaller boy into his large chest, broad and CJ found himself using it like a pillow, to the way he gave CJ little bits of affection - nuzzling his face against CJ's hair or giving soft kisses on his head - it was all intoxicating, and slowly, and without realizing it, CJ was mentally processing the thoughts of wanting to please Dominic, no matter how much he had to do - this man would easily become one of CJ's lifelines.
He gave a quiet sigh, shifting so that he was leaning against Dom like a child would sitting on one of their parents laps, half tilting, one arm and shoulder leaning against the older man's chest, his head resting on Dom's shoulder, an almost sleepy look on his face. If he could, he'd fall asleep right there - all he needed was his blanket and he'd be good to go. "CJ doesn't want to leave," he mumbled, tiredly looking over at the guard, who scowled at them. CJ nuzzled his head into Dom's chest, almost like he wanted to get closer than how close the two already were - he was quite enjoying the comfort and the feelings from this older man. He heard the guard say something, like 'Dominic, let him go' or something, and CJ frowned, curling up closer to Dominic, biting his lip, "CJ's being good. Dom shouldn't have to let him go," he mumbled, mostly for Dom to hear, not for the guard, "Dom didn't do anything wrong, either. No getting into trouble," he muttered, sadly, eyes looking up to meet Dom's for a moment.

Dominic smirked at the words that came from his young companion's lips, pleased to see how content CJ was which was something unique. Usually the wannabe vampire wanted only to have his needs met, be that sex or blood, but with CJ he wanted the youth to safe and content. It made him wonder was this truly love? Did he love CJ? He wasn't really certain since he had never truly loved anyone before. Whatever this was Dominic had no desire to let it slip through his fingers. Softly he stroked a hand over his smooth locks as CJ shifted his body so he was resting against him in a fashion like that of a small child. “I don't want you to leave either,” he replied in a hushed voice, holding his smaller frame close.
CJ was his and he refused to give him up until the young mental patient wanted to be free, no one was going to tell him otherwise. Dominic growled threateningly at the guard as he told him to let the young man go, he had no intention of letting CJ go just yet. “No. He wants to stay with me. I am not letting him go,” he told the guard before he returned his attention to CJ who was whispering to him that he shouldn't have to let him go. “No, I'm not letting you go,” he whispered back, hugging him as tightly as he could without harming him. “I don't care if I get in trouble, you hear!” he yelled at the guard “He's mine!” Dominic lowered his eyes to meet CJ's, giving him a kiss directly on his forehead.
