"And what's making you smile?" He looked at her brightly, "I was just thinking on how much I loved that laugh of yours." He watches her scoot farther back and hoped he didn't frighten her with the embrace. He felt a breeze over his neck where the scar was and he feels the scar. He chuckles, "Oh that old thing? Well I guess one of those things of being a police officer is that well it's dangerous." He smiled and shook his head. "It was a busy night at the station and I got called out for some suspicious activity at a convenient store. I held the suspect at gun point, and stupid me didn't check to see a man behind the counter. So while I had the guy on the floor I just handcuffed him when another suspect runs behind me. He ended slicing the back of my neck, and well that sure was a long night. They both got away that night but were found a week later in another robbery." He remembered the action, and well he liked the action. It was just too dangerous for his liking.
"It doesn't bother me none, I liked the action just didn't like the crazy hours and getting sent in just to get attacked." He smiled. "So are you feeling better?" He hoped she was and not worrying about him, because he doubted he was going to be held at knife point. At least he hoped he wouldn't and chuckled.

Abigail blushed when he said that the reason he was smiling was because he liked her laugh. Sure she'd never been short on compliments from men, but coming from Collin they sure felt different, genuine even, it wasn't like he was only saying it just to get one thing from her. As he spoke about his job as an officer she listened intently, not believing how close he'd came to not being here, she could understand why he'd left the job, it was too dangerous.
"You think there's any chance you'll go back to being a Police Officer?" she asked, not realising her fingers were still tracing the scar on his neck. She also couldn't help but wonder if he had any more...
When he asked if she was feeling better she shrugged and smiled softly, "A little, it's kind of hard to tell lately. I do feel better when your around though...less like a crazy girl..." she admitted with a small chuckle.

As she still grazed over his scar he chuckled finding it amusing on how she was in awe over it. "You think there's any chance you'll go back to being a Police Officer?" He never really thought about going back, and just didn't see that job in his future right now. "No, I don't think I will. Plus I think I have too much fun being a security guard." He winked and smiled. Although he wondered if he didn't, but it really didn't matter. "Well if you like scars I got more I can show you." He shakes his head playfully, "I was the liability of the task force I guess." He joked amused at how often he would get hurt or not follow one simple procedure. He got mad easily and it drove him away from procedure. He liked to take matters into his own hands.
[sorry for short post :3 going with mom for a bit. Be back soon!]

When he said he had more scars he could show her she smiled and nodded her head, "Sure...I'd show you mine but..." she held up her arms and pulled a face. Letting her hands drop to her lap, she was itching to remove the bandages but had been warned by her Doctor's not to do so. Abigail knew she'd be left with two nasty looking scars by time they came off though. "I like scars...weird I know, but hey, I'm nuts." she smiled.

"Sure...I'd show you mine but..." He looked briefly at her wrists and just thought the scars would hold emotional pain. Over what ever she self inflicted herself for, but by the looks of it she meant death. So he was glad that she was at least here with him. "I like scars...weird I know, but hey, I'm nuts." He smiled and said, "Being weird is good, it makes you unique. And stand out from everyone else." He paused before continuing. "Well I will show you the scars quickly, don't need anyone walking in... Might be kind of weird. I'll tell the story afterwards." He chuckled and removed his cotton button up shirt from being neatly tucked and pulled it up and underneath he had a white under shirt. He lifted up the sleeve on the button up and a horizontal scar across his deltoid muscle revealed itself. He kept the sleeve rolled up then pulled out his white tank top up high. This revealed a long three inch scar on his side right below his pectoral muscles. It was a pretty gruesome looking scar, and he held up his shirt giving her time to look and touch if she'd like before pulling it back down and tucking it back into his pants along with his buttoned up shirt.
"Well the story behind those two are not exactly police related. It was actually a bar fight." He laughed and continued on with his story, "Just a guy running his mouth and not exactly being nice so we took it outside to the parking lot. He decided to pull a knife on me and in an attempt to back away he slashed my arm. Then I tried grabbing the knife from him he stabbed my side and sliced it. Paramedics said I was lucky he didn't hit a lung. And I agree probably would have been a nasty night." He looked at her gently with a smile. Those stories didn't really matter right now and he knew that. What mattered to him right now was Abigail and he loved that feeling he really did. He looked at her and smiled brightly. He placed his hand back on her knee and really liked playing with toes but she had shoes on so he resisted. And moved his hand up to her cheek stroking it softly before taking his hand away.

As he revealed his scars she gasped quietly, doing her best to look at the scar he was showing her instead of his body. Clasping her hands tightly together on her lap, she fought the urge to reach out and touch them, thinking that may be pushing the boundaries a bit. As he tucked his shirt back in, she fought back the urge to pout and instead smiled softly.
"You just attract trouble don't you." she joked, shaking her head a bit. "I've seen how nasty those bar fights can turn out, your Doc was right your really lucky in the grand scheme of things..." she said, trailing off. She was 2 years underage, not really allowed anywhere near a bar, but thanks to some well in touch friends, she'd acquired a fake ID, and managed to get herself into plenty of places, she usually left though if fighting ensued.
When he placed his hand on her cheek, she blushed again. Her eyes flickering to the door, when he removed it. Last thing she wanted was for him to get into trouble, for spending some time with her. "So you think working in an insane asylum is going to be any safer than working as a cop?" she asked, she actually thought it'd be more dangerous, considering some of the people inside here.

"You just attract trouble don't you." He chuckled. "Well I guess being the quiet guy I look like I am up to no good. I just usually keep to myself." He watched her eyes flicker towards the door, "Got anybody coming by?" Although he knew anyone could just pop in whenever they wanted. A guard, nurse, or doctor. He could probably weasel his way out of it but it did look pretty bad. A male security guard and female patient sitting near each other. "So you think working in an insane asylum is going to be any safer than working as a cop?" The question really made him think, he knew there was still a danger in it, but how much more dangerous? It's not like the patients always had weapons on them, but how hard could it be to get their hands on something with enough force could still be a weapon?
He shook the thoughts away and answered her question, "Well I guess it is a little safer, being back up shouldn't be too hard to get. But yeah I guess it's got some risk but I don't see that much of a threat." He shrugged and smiled at her. "Well at least I don't get shot at here." He winked and he stretched his legs while looking at the time. He had to get back to work soon, though he would love to just stay right here with her. He liked talking to her, it was his way to let off steam and share things with her.

Abi smiled and crossed her legs, clasping her fingers together neatly on her lap as she looked at Collin. "I told my parents to stay away, so I doubt they'll be coming by anytime soon..." she said when he asked had she anybody coming by. She should feel bad about banning them from seeing her but she didn't, part of her was always going to blame her attack on their abscence.
"You may not get shot at but crazies can get mega strong when they flip...I know I do..." she said with a small smile, the medications she was on were helping with her disorders, but they'd take a while to work properly.

"I told my parents to stay away, so I doubt they'll be coming by anytime soon..." He stretched his legs out from under him and leaning back letting some blood flow get to his feet. He guessed by this that she didn't really get along with her parents or she was mad at them for maybe sending her here. But he didn't know quite for sure. He just knew bits and pieces. He just nodded thoughtfully and smiled back. Just resting his hands on the edge of the bed, "Well, I should maybe get back to work." He was pretty much up for his lunch time and he didn't want to go, but he had a job. And things to do, halls to patrol, patients to help. "You may not get shot at but crazies can get mega strong when they flip...I know I do..." He smiled faintly and said, "Imma big boy I can handle it." He winked and reached over to give her a quick hug before getting up. And he just looked at her beautiful hair along with her eyes. He loved it and really loved her company. He looked down stroking her cheek on how smooth and delicate it seemed, he was just in awe over her. "So, when shall we meet again?" He gave a warm smile.

Abigail shrugged her shoulders somewhat, she wasn't looking forward to being alone once more, but smiled still, "Your the guard...I'm free whenever..." she said. It wasn't like she was going to be going anywhere anytime soon, so she was easily reachable.
"If I'm not in here, I'll more than likely be out in the yard...so if you want to find me, you just have to look either here or there." she told him, biting down on her lip.

"Okay then, I will be sure to find you." He winked and told himself he may come back after his shift or tomorrow. All he knew is he wanted to see her soon. He grazed his hand over hers before saying, "I'll see you soon." He turned around grabbing the bag now just light and practically empty, as he walked out the door softly closing it and heading to the staff workroom to put his stuff up and head off for guard duty. He was dying to see her again and he wanted to talk more he thought it would be nice. Plus getting to see that lovely smile, face, and laugh. Well he could just not wait for that he was too excited. But out among the other guards he gave his same old straight faced attitude. It always happened this way with him his moods ranging ever so, but he couldn't help it so he didn't worry too much about it. Just the way he was, and he didn't like to talk much on the job.
