The dream, but more like a nightmare. A night mare she would never wake up from. Lacey barking and the look, oh the look in Derek's sweet eyes. He was pleading, he had to of been pleading. Lacey jumping and tackling the suicide bomber just all going in a flash. Then the bang, a deafening scream pierces the air, but suddenly realizes it is only her own. Sitting up right in bed she looks around and curses under her breath. Her forehead and long black wavy hair were drenched with sweat. She pulled the covers away clambering out of bed, and glances at the clock. And says, "Great, it's only 10:30pm!" She trudges to her bathroom and splashes cold water on her face. She grins in the mirror and opens the cabinent and pulls out a few aspirin. She takes them and grabs her hair brush. She brushed her hair until it started curving slightly, satisfied she went over to her closet to pick out clothing, and pushing the nightmare to the back of her mind. She was going to have fun and didn't need that old nightmare racking her brain. She finally decided on some short jean shorts, and a white tank top. She grabbed her dog tags, fondling them and looking at them. She slipped them over her head and put them inside her shirt. Pulling her hair in front of her shoulders and turning around she grabs her keys off her kitchen table.
She locks her door behind her and closes it quietly. Lord knows how many she awoke with that scream. The heat lingering in the air from a hot day, but there was a sense of a cool breeze. She quietly walks down her steps and heads down out onto the street. She second thought, that maybe she should have grabbed a jacket. But she was a marine and she wasn't going back. She was going to let loose tonight and have her excitement. She walked calmly down the street with a cute little smirk playing on her lips. She glances at the local bar and knew that was the place she wanted and needed to be. She crossed the empty and abandoned street. Before reaching the door, the loud music was pulsing through the air. Sounded like some of the newer stuff so she smiled and tugged on the door. It was vibrant with quite a few in the joint, and she weaved her way straight to the bar. The gruff bartender nodded his greeting, "What will you be having?" She grinned, "Well that's what I am talking about, three shots of Whiskey please." She scanned the room as the bar tender got the three shots ready. And she paused a moment, "Add a budlight to that!"
She turned sitting leaning against the bar and picked up the first shot, and grinned like she was up to no good. She tilted the glass along with her head and her tongue tingled from the liquor. Just the way she liked it she thought to herself and took the second one down in pleasure. With the third she laughed and swallowed it down. Putting the glass on the bar and nodding at the bar tender in approval. She grabbed her beer and took a long swig of it. While having a slight buzz she chugs the beer and puts it down. She heads to the dance floor dancing with just random people and crouching low and wiggling her way back up.
