I CAN'T FEEL MY FAITH CAN'T RECALL MY CRIME.
I THINK I SEALED MY FATE ALONG THE WAY I MAY HAVE LOST MY MIND.
I GUESS WE'RE ALL DAMAGED IN OUR OWN WAY.

[/color]“ARES! NO!”
When he got a hold of that dog’s neck he was going to strangle him. Sam turned the corner roughly, darting down the hallways of the manor. Several people were watching him with interest now, patients and staff alike. They weren’t really used to seeing a full-grown man chasing a 100 lbs dog through the facility. Sam cursed himself for bringing Ares in today, but he’d really believed the dog could handle it. Their training was going to well Sam was sure Ares was ready for a day on the job.
Boy had he been wrong. The moment they’d entered the building, Ares had behaved well enough. But as soon as they entered the lunchroom, he’d scrambled away from Sam and grabbed a sandwich from one of the patients. Instead of returning and dropping the sandwich as Sam ordered him to do, he’d taken off out the door and down the hallway. The only thing left for Sam to do was chase him down.
But that was proving to be no easy task. With a quick turn after ramming into several doctors and nurses, the dog darted to the right straight into the library. Sam muttered a curse before darting into the library after the bi-colored berner. It didn’t take long to find him because he was jumping over one of the tables, knocking books and papers everywhere. Some of the patients in the room cowered as if Ares would bite them and some just looked pure out aggressive. Sam gritted his teeth, let one of them try to hurt his dog. The only one strangling Ares’ neck today was Sam. Annoyed now, he called out one last time to the dog a little louder then he would have liked.
“ARES! COME!”
The dog stopped for a moment, standing proudly on one of the tables in the room. Time stood still for a moment and Samuel honestly believed he’d finally stopped this infernal chase. That was not to be the case. In one quick movement, the dog was off the table and running straight towards a nurse. Sam recognized her from around the hospital, though their conversations had been short and courteous- he wasn’t even sure he remembered her name. But he had a feeling he was about to learn it as Ares dove towards the woman, paws extended into what could only be referred to as a canine hug. Oh god, he was going to jump on her. Sam could picture him writing the report now. 100lbs dog sat on nurse and crushed her to death.
“ARES! CEASE!”
Suddenly the dog stopped and turned towards Sam, trotting up to him in an almost overly loyal manner. One wouldn't think Sam had just spent the last 20 minutes chasing him throughout the facility. Resting back on his haunches, the dog tilted his head up and looked at Sam as if waiting for his command.
“Stay.”
Sam couldn’t help but notice the lack of a sandwich and felt kind of impressed the dog had managed to wolf it down while on the run. Ares used his front paw to scratch the brim of his nose as Sam turned to the nurse, finally able to catch his breath.
“Sorry, you alright?”
