NOW I THINK I UNDERSTAND
HOW THIS WORLD CAN OVER COME A MAN
» p r o f i l e «
ALL THIS HURT CAN FINALLY FADE
q u i n n . . .
Quinn is a homosexual prone to self starvation and mutilation, hallucinations, and delusional thoughts. He's a strange sort of guy, slightly hyperactive and always moving around when he can. His bipolar disorder is of the rapid cycling sort, and he can go from mania to depression and back again very quickly. Treatment has proven to be hard in the past for him. He wants to get better for some things and stay sick in other respects. Mostly, everything is a curiosity to Quinn, a game. He's not looking for the exit, just for something to do (and a way to shut his family up).
PROMISE ME YOU'LL NEVER FEEL AFRAID
f r i e n d s . . .
Quinn isn't terribly fond of females, but his love of interesting characters will sometimes allow him to see past gender and talk to them. He typically feels more at ease around other males. He'd probably like someone to discuss escaping with (though he'd never really attempt it), grand plans for the future, and gritty details of the past. Maybe someone who likes benzos as much as he does.
SLEEP TIGHT,
e n e m i e s . . .
He would probably strike most others as being annoying; too wild, too extreme. He's quite friendly and charismatic when he wants to be, but the latter isn't often. Quinn's problem is that he doesn't have a proverbial filter on his mouth - if he thinks it, he says it. That can land him in hot water.
I'M NOT AFRAID
l o v e r s . . .
Difficult. He's never really had anything other than a few emotionally abusive boyfriends in his past (and Quinn, in turn, was just as abusive) that were looking for sex and drugs. That was fine with him. He doesn't think he's worthy of much more than that.
