How can we improve? [All participate]

Our activity has been low to fading for awhile, we understand it's summer and RL comes first but we would till love to hear your input and ALL comments and ideas are more than welcome =] Don't be shy guys. We want to improve and become better not just for ud but you and everyone who joins.

I'd say a lot of advertising. The site's perfect as it is so there's no need to really change anything at least, not from what I can see. Just bump it a few times on proboards support every day and things'll pick up real soon.

...I wish it was summer over here too and not damn cold ._.

I said a new skin.
The skin we have now is great, but i feel like a darker one would pull everything together more, and give it a really ominous feeling (:

ALSO: maybe more boards? Such as more outside of the Manor.
and possibly a new category for family members who live outside the Manor who come and visit their brother, sister, cousin, mom, dad etc.?

I would agree about there being more boards. There's a good variety right now, but a few more outside the manor would be nice, as well as a few more "neutral" boards inside. Last year I was a member of an Asylum RP that, unfortunately, closed due to the admin being too busy. Important part of the story: there was a board for just the hallways in the hospital and a lot of roleplaying went on there because it was a place for patients and doctors to mix without it being biased one way or the other. (Like, in a rec room the doctors might be taking on a more chaperon-ish vibe, even if they didn't mean it that way.) If any of that made sense... which it totally might not have....

I liked the hallway idea a lot so I went ahead and created that board. =] As for the other boards, I'll get with Tabz and go over some board ideas soon. ^_^ Keep the suggestions rolling guys! We appreciate it!

I'm not exactly sure that this will attract more members, but maybe make a character art board for the OOC area? It gives members a lot more to do while waiting around for their RP partner to post, and I know from other sites that it's a really fun experience to have your character write a journal, or just to publish little doodles of their family and such.

Speaking of creating new boards, what about an out of bounds type thing, like the roof or something? I mean, something that the rebellious patients would like, if that makes any sense. Or even have some places that are off limits to high level patients but low level can be there, like a pool or something. Just to get some rule breaking more variety going on.

I can manage that for the OOC board. :3 No problem. And I actually like the roof idea so let me throw around some ideas for that and I'll get something up asap for it. ^_^ Keep those suggestions coming guys!

Hi, I was just looking around and noticed, there are no bathrooms.
A lot can happen in the Jon,Loo,Can,Bathroom... I think maybe it might be needed?

I like the journal idea. Gives the characters a way to express themselves, 'specially the quiet ones and the ones that aren't exactly.. how would you say, forthcoming about themselves?

The bathrooms would be a good place for characters to spit out their meds.

Brit was talking about doing a Halloween thing soon. I think we should have some site-wide events where a lot of different characters can interact with each other.

Here's a random idea pitch. I know I like the cbox thing, and look at that in sites. Maybe using a chattango or something might be a bit better? Would certainly allow for more words and spacing for the comments..er...words? That could possibly do something?

Have you guys advertised the site on resources sites? Like Caution 2.0, RPG-D, RPG Collections? This is great way of getting new members, as asylum rpg are hard to find active.

* Caution 2.0 - would have to place [PB] in the title so members know, you don't have to join to submit the site.
* RPG-D - would have to join to submit the site, but is totally worth it
* RPG Collections - would have to join, but again totally worth it.

That's all I can think of right now, I can advertised on Caution 2.0 for you, if you guys haven't done it.

maybe like a quote scroll? i know that proboards has the news fader, and we could all nominate funny little quotes from other characters' quotes to flash on it or something. it would add a bit of humor to the site, other than the things that go down the the chat boxes.
