Sid laid in the grass and dead leaves, looking up at the sky for a long, drawn out moment as he felt the gentle breeze pass over his forehead, messing up his already messy hair. He sighed, sitting up as he watched his personal guard study him with intense, pissed off eyes because he literally begged him to go outside. Hey, it wasn’t like he wanted to just sit around outside. It was one of those rare moments where he wanted to spend time with the two closest people to him – well, in this hellhole called Lucid Manor, that was. Alec Anderson and Willow Esquire – he and Alec had been in slews of trouble which have put them on pretty much the “if you do this again, you’ll get…” line just by being with Willow – protecting her. She had dubbed them her “knights” – the Tulip Knights or whatever. She had discussed it with Alec, but Sid really didn’t care about it. What mattered to him was that he had his friends, and that was all. They were a tight knit group, and while anyone else could’ve said differently, there wasn’t much wiggle room.
He rubbed the back of his neck as he waited, staring blankly at the high cement walls that had surrounded them. He had only turned his head when he heard the voice of his friend – Willlow. Was she talking to Lily? He mulled about it, but didn’t exactly think long about it as she found her way to the garden with a nurse, who left her standing in the middle of the courtyard. He got up, and with his stupid guard by his side, walked over to her, “Hi, Willow,” he smiled, even though he knew she couldn’t see him, but he made it sound happy – his voice, that is. He was happy. He was excited about spending that fall afternoon with her, and even with Alec. They were her Knights of the Tulip or whatever. His eyes studied her for a minute before he looked up, smiling even bigger as he saw Alec walk out into the yard. Oh man, he was getting excited. He mindlessly took Willow’s hand, making his guard growl but he waved him off and pulled her over to where he was laying, gently, and pulled her onto his lap as he sat down, knowing Alec would be a little hesitant but still willing to sit with them, “I got you something – because you gave me a tulip, I got you a sunflower. I don’t know if you like them or not…” he gave a gentle shrug, pulling the sunflower from seemingly nowhere (he had it hidden underneath the leaves) before handing it to Willow, glancing at Alec, “Hi, mate.”

Willow was in a good moon. Excelent mood actually. Lily spent the night, she was actually able to sleep through the night with out sedation, they had prearranged meeting in the Garden.. and the best part? Or rather the cherry on the top? The Evil Nurse had a day off. Which, to Willow ment that no matter how horribly wrong the day can go, there will always be the pleasure of knowing that, that horrid woman was not there to mock, or taunt, or be rude to her. She probably should talk to her doctor one of these times about switching the nurse.
But, that was later. Today she was meeting Sid and Alec in the garden. Her knights. And probably... if thought about... her friends.... such strange words to her. Willow had friends, but they were all gone now. She pushed them awayy. Far away, after that day. And the Knights.... the knights, were the closest things to friends she had. She was actually liking Sid too. He was rather pleasant...and she enjoyed his company emencely. Truth be told, she was perhaps even starting to care for him a bit. And Alec? He was her friend, and one of the protectors. She knew that he could be violent.... that he fought... but he was nice to her, and to Sid. Secretly, Willow hoped that they could grow close, and not ever get sepirated.
I know...I try, honestly!but it's hard. I mean, you understand right? But I try...and my friends hep me!" Willow smiled churning in the diraction of the nurse as they walked down the hall. She liked this nurse. She was nice. Well, at least she wasn't rude and forcefull, nor did she mind Lily that much.
"And that's all good, just keep trying hun. IT would take some time, but you'll be alright. And it sounds like you've got a pair of Knights to help, the princess." The nurse teased, causing the girl to grinn slightly. "Well, we're here hun. Are you alright here?"
Yep! Sid's here! I'll be ok! Willow smiled, in the diraction where she heard Sid's voice. Sid! Hi! The girl waved her hand, as the nurse took one last look before leaving, though not before glancing at teh guard stationed in the garden. How are you? She didn't mind that he took her hand, one of the few people, who could do that with out her flinching. And sitting on his lap, seemed to be a regular thing, but she liked it. It was comfortable, and felt safe. You did? Oh it's lovely! Willow smiled, as she took the sunflower, feeling the surfaces, the textures. Sunflowers... they reminded her of the sun, of pleasant days... Oh thank you! She hugged Sid, giving him a soft kiss on the cheek, before waving to Alec. (Sorry if it seems kinda random.. Willow's mind could be like that sometimes.... XP))

He could do nothing but glare at his personal guard, anger flickering over his face every few seconds. And he’d been having such a good day up until now. It was like the moment he requested to actually do something other then brood in his room, everyone suddenly had a problem with him socializing. It wasn’t like he got into a fight every time he walked out of his room…just most of the time. Yeah, Alec had seen his fair share of solitary confinement- especially in the padded rooms. With more patience and determination then he knew he had, he asked once more if he could go out to the damn yard.
Finally! The guard agreed for some reason or another, so they made there way outside. But to Alec it could have been anywhere- the pool, the rec room, the damn cafeteria even, as long as Sid and Willow were there. Sid had somehow managed to become someone very important to Alec and he wasn’t even sure how it had happened. The two just molded together, backed each other up nearly 100% of the time. And Willow, well…She was Sid’s Caroline as far he was concerned. Somehow, he’d been recruited into this knights of tulip thing, but it wasn’t so bad. Not that he’d ever mention it but it felt nice to actually be a part of something. And somehow, Alec promised himself he’d keep them both safe, even if it meant solitary confinement or something much worse. At the sight of them he gave a small nod of acknowledgment and walked towards them, apparently only arriving seconds after Willow. Then nearly kicked his self as he once again remembered Willow was blind. Of course, he could look at her and tell she was, it was just he sometimes forgot he had to actually speak when he was around her. He blamed Sid for that, because he didn’t always have to talk around him.
“Hey you two.”
Instead of taking a seat on the ground next to them, he just stood casually off to the side- glancing at his guard standing next to Sid’s. Who knew how long he’d actually let Alec stay out here.

Sid smiled, resting his nose against Willow’s head as she felt the sunflower he had handed to her, his almost neon-like eyes studying one of his best friends. No, wait – Alec Anderson was his best friend. They were… normal. Almost deadly so. He may have felt a little strange at first, but for some reason, Alec and Jimmy were almost always spot on. He could read Alec’s body language, know what his friend was thinking – was that strange? He wondered about it, watching as Alec stood off towards the side, standing, not willing to sit down next to them. Sometimes, he wondered what went through Alec’s mind when he didn’t come join them, and how he kept himself distant from them, but he didn’t double think on it, finding his focus in Willow’s talking, asking how he was and thanking him for the sunflower with a hug and a kiss on the cheek as well as verbally. He smiled and returned her kiss, giving her a gentle kiss on her forehead, “You’re welcome, darling,” he stated happily, his eyes studying her for a moment before looking at Alec.
He studied his friend as he finally answered Willow’s how are you question, “I’m good. A little tired, but it’s whatever. I haven’t been sleeping fairly well, but eh, I’ll survive,” he explained, giving a little shrug of his shoulders, resting his chin on her shoulder as he took his eyes away from Alec to stare at the green grass underneath his legs. He didn’t want to stare and seem strange – he had that happen often, “Alec, you can come sit you know,” he said, almost distantly, lost in thought.

Willow smiled, shifting slightly, as she got cozy on Sid's lap. Lately she found herself dozing off, having grown perhaps slightly too comfortable around him. Of course, it's not such a bad thing, just.... different. And lately, she has been slipping into a small fantasy of the good old midevalish times.... the pretty ones, not the regular grotesque and demented ones with the black plague. No, she was imagening the little world, with the "knights" and "princesses" and heroic deeds, and the evil villans, and mystics. But, those were nothing more then a day dream. A day dream of a sence deprived mind, wishing to see someking of reality. But those thoughts had to be pushed aside. THey were her friends and protectors... well.. at least one a friend, and the other perhaps a bit more, but Willow dared not speak up about it, else the pleasant dream may shatter.
It was rather starnge, if one was to think of it, that such relations formed here, of all places. Yet, she was happy that they did. And would not change anything for htem. Her string of thought, was brought to a hult, as Sid began to speak. Her eyebrows drawing together slightly, as she raised her hand, touching his cheek gently. She hardly ever got enough sleep, and knew how bad it was...
If you want... maybe I can sneak into your room, and sing you a laluby... if that'll help...My mom used to sing them to Lily and I, when we were kids. Willow smiled mischiviously. Could anyone blame a girl? It was an excuse to cuddle with Sid... and to actually have a good night's sleep herself. She has been sleepwalking a bit much lately.
How are you doing Alec? Willow smiled, in the diraction she remebered hearing Alec's voice at, secretly hoping he was still in that diraction, else that would be a bit embaressing. Something told her, it happened alot more then people let on...

Alec listened with mild interest as Sid responded to Willow’s question. It bothered him that his friend wasn’t sleeping well but he couldn’t blame him. It was very rare that Alec received any well rest in this facility. Gaze shift to his friend, wondering what he was thinking at that moment. With the slight shrug in his shoulders, Alec could deduce Sid just didn’t want to worry Willow. That was fine with Alec, but he made a mental note to express his concern later. Of course, his idea of expressing concern was a simple and gruff ‘you ok?’ But even though it didn’t appear to mean much, it was earnest in its sincerity. So wrapped up in his thoughts that he nearly missed Sid alerting him to the fact he could sit down. Alec’s brows knit together for a moment before he let out an awkward sigh. He knew he could sit, he did. It was just always easier to relax back into the background.
A small smirk appeared on his features as Willow spoke of sneaking into Sid’s room. The two of them were special to him, but sometimes he couldn’t help but feel like he was intruding on their time together. If he could go back, he’d spend every waking moment with Caroline. Willows voice caught his attention and he noticed that she was looking in the slightly wrong direction. Suddenly he couldn’t help but be grateful she couldn’t see his face, as thinking about Caroline had but a scowl on it. With a gentle frown, he shifted quietly to the direction she was looking at before speaking,
“I’ve been well.”
Another simple answer, but it was all he could really dwell into. Alec wasn’t one to push his problems on other people. He’d much rather be Sid and Willows catch all then have them waste one second worrying about him. Shifting to glance towards the guards once more, he decided that they would probably be out there for a while and took a seat on the ground across from them. Even as he was sitting, Alec was still disconnected from the small group. Body shifted slightly as he gazed around the yard, looking for any sign of a threat. It was just something that had become instinctive to him the more time he spent around Willow and Sid. And even though he wouldn’t dare speak the words out loud, it helped to keep his mind occupied from his own internal demons.
“How are you?”
