AGE. GENDER. JOB.
[style=scroll;] Well hello there! We’re glad you’re interested in pursuing your future career here at Lucid Manor. We’ll be happy to review your application before you can hop on board to our friendly experienced staff of nurses, doctors, security and even our new trainee interns. The application process isn’t long, and we’d prefer if you answered everything as truthfully as you can, after all, the more truthful you are, the less likely you’ll be locked away as a patient one day. But who knows; Lucid Manor is for crazy people, and we’re all a little crazy sooner or later…
Likewise, to inform everyone, this should be written in first person, as if your character was answering. It’s more fun that way, that’s for sure, so if you can do it that way, that’d be fantastic. If you wish to do OOC notes, simply put them in (parentheses) and you’re good to go.
Well, let’s start off on an easy question, shall we? What is your legal birth name? We’d prefer it if you put it in first middle last or first, middle initial last format. Likewise, what nicknames do you go by?
A: (fill in your answer)
With that out of the way, how about you inform us of your birthday and your age? You don’t need to include a year, mind you, but the format should be month date, age.
A: (fill in your answer)
Okay, with that said, can you give us a description of what you look like? Include your play by first, your hair and eye colour, your weight, height and build, scars, tattoos or piercings, and any other physical description you feel like including.
A: (fill in your answer)
So now the penultimate question, do you have any disorders? If you don’t want us to know about the ones you do haveespecially if you’re afraid that you’ll be locked up in the loony bin with the patients, simply put the name in bold.
A: (fill in your answer)
Which brings us to the last question; how long have you been here at Lucid Manor? Are you a new guard, or are you a veteran one?
A: (fill in your answer)
Now that we have a general feel for what you look like and your name and everything, it’s time to really explore who you are. So, with that said, tell us some of your likes. You can either list as many as you want, but they should all be logical to who you are.
A: (fill in your answer)
Likewise, what are some dislikes you have? Please try and keep it even with how many likes you put. Even is good, you know.
A: (fill in your answer)
With that said, what are some of your strengths? You can name anything you’re relatively good at, but remember, if it’s outlandish, we’ll report you to the authorities. You can list them if you wish.
A: (fill in your answer)
And, lastly, what are some of your weaknesses? They should roughly even out your strengths, and you should keep the list as even to your strengths as you can. A helpful tip: think opposites of your strengths.
A: (fill in your answer)
So, with that out of the way, can you describe your personality out for us? Include things like how you interact with others, what you’re like, how you act. Don’t strictly make it on one thing, but include a various set amount of things, really let us know who you are. Sell yourself. This part should be at least two paragraphs.
A: (fill in your answer)
Anything else you want to tell us? You can put any hobbies, special talents or anything really here that relate to what makes you special and qualified for this position at Lucid Manor.
A: (fill in your answer)
Tell us a little about your motivations and goals for the future.
A: (fill in your answer)
What’s your background with being a security officer? Have you’ve done police work, gone through school, etc.?
A: (fill in your answer)
Perhaps there has been a major crime within the walls of Lucid Manor, what is your main priority and why?
A: (fill in your answer)
Which is more important to you: work or money? Why?
A: (fill in your answer)
Convince us with three dazzling facts about you to make us want you for a security position. What do you have that other security members don’t?
A: (fill in your answer)
An unruly patient is stronger, taller or faster than you are. They’re causing trouble in the halls. What do you do, and why?
A: (fill in your answer)
Tell us something that was difficult or stressful that you’ve accomplished over the years. What was it? How did you fair? Did it make you a stronger person?
A: (fill in your answer)
Tell us a bit about your home life; your mother, father, any siblings you had. Tell us about that kitten you had as a child who followed you around, or the ferret who stole your money because it was shiny. Tell us how you interacted with your family.
A: (fill in your answer)
Did you finish school and go onto something higher, or are you a drop out? How did you do in school? Explain all you can about your schooling life, and why you went to an institute of higher learning.
A: (fill in your answer)
Now, lastly, tell me about your history. Include your childhood to now. It doesn’t have to be in great detail, but this part should be the longest part of your application, it really gives us a feel to how you grew up and glues all of you together, you know? At least make it three paragraphs at the minimum, but longer than that is a virtue, and shorter than that won’t be accepted.
A: (fill in your answer)
So, you’re a new player around these parts, aren’t you? We’re glad you’ve made it through the application process; we know it’s a lot, but we don’t want loonies for staff around here, you know… and we don’t want sane people as patients. And this is the last little stretch you have to write. We want to see how well you write – so write an RP sample of your character that’s two hundred and fifty words minimum to introduce yourself to our little family. If this is your second or more character, you are excused from having to write an RP sample, but you should link it to the sample you already have.
